Notable organizational change and transition coaching within LaVada’s portfolio includes DEI, leadership development, talent acquisition strategies and succession planning, performance metrics and management, organizational restructuring, cultural competency development, strategic communication and guidance, strategic onboarding and additional customized programming and planning. 

LaVada’s credits include Board Member, National Association of Women's Business Owners, Ventura County, former VP of Los Angeles chapter of the National Black MBA, alumni of the AA Board Leadership Institute, Alumni of the Los Angeles Women's Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI) and Los Angeles Business Journal Women’s Summit nominee, as well as additional committees and community service organizations. She holds several training certifications and has led teams to greater engagement, increased morale, new performance standards, and higher retention. 

Ms. Johnson’s career spans over 20 years with deep knowledge and expertise in employee relations, HR compliance and employment law representing private and public employers.  Dedicated and accessible, Ms. Johnson has extensive experience advising and training management on complex EEO compliance issues including:  diversity and Inclusion, discipline and discharge matters; the provision of disability accommodations; performance management best practices; creating and implementing early resolution/conflict resolution processes; workplace investigation and grievance best practices; creation and review of personnel policies and employee handbooks; and strategies for avoiding retaliation.  

Ms. Johnson holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) With Honors from the University of Iowa College of Law where she was an Associate Editor and published author on the Iowa Law Review, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Iowa where she graduated With Distinction as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Johnson is a licensed attorney in Washington State.

Stacey A. Gordon is a Diversity, Inclusion and Career Strategist who works to reduce bias in recruiting and barriers to hiring.  She is a highly rated coach practitioner who not only conducts career coaching, but has facilitated coaching of Chief Diversity Officers and other D&I practitioners at several Diversity & Inclusion forums. She was recognized by Pepperdine University as a Top 40 Over 40 Leader, was a finalist for Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women Helping Women Award and was recognized by Forbes as a Top 3 Business Leader Who Spoke Out About Diversity & Inclusion.

With an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Business School, Stacey is an Advisory Board Member to two career and technology related companies,  She is the author of a book titled The Successful Interview: 99 Questions to Ask and Answer (and Some You Shouldn't) and four LinkedIn e-learning courses titled Recruiting for Diversity, Awareness of Unconscious Bias, Making a Career Change and Writing a Resume.

Dr. Tora Brown specializes in Organizational Development and Media Relations.  In 1997, Tora started Tora Brown Public Relations, which executes external- focused communication and branding strategies for more than 35 nonprofit organizations in the Los Angeles County area, including developing public relations plans, national and local advertising, media events, creating media press kits, b-roll footage, photography shoots and social media.


Tora has a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, a B.A. in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, an M.S. in Public Administration with an emphasis on Community/Public Relations and Human Resource Management from California State University, Los Angeles and a Doctorate of Psychology with an emphasis in Organizational Management and Consulting.


She has a certificate in Management Development for Entrepreneurs from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Actively involved in the community, Tora has been a member of many business and community organizations, including the CSULA Alumni Association Board of Directors, the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley. She is a past recipient of the WIN Foundation Woman of the Year Award.

Christina Kim brings 10+ years of experience in creating team and leadership performance. Having administered more than 1,500 psychometric assessments and trained hundreds of coaches and trainers, she is sought out for her expertise in driving team excellence through hiring and developing the right talent.


She holds multiple certifications in human behavior and dynamics, and has led teams in creating Strengths-based cultures, improving employee engagement, productivity and team collaboration while lowering turnover and absenteeism. Ms. Kim formerly served as a Talent Management Consultant at Gallup where she received multiple awards for her impact and results.
